Bad weather hits in Italy. And while on the whole peninsula the frost falls, a Turkish merchant hurries on the beach in Bari. It is the Efe Murat, about an hour and a half stranded on the beach "Pane e Pomodoro". According to what emerges from the first information, the sailors would not have managed to steer the ship because of the wind of Grecal that blows impetuously from tonight. The merchant ship left the port of Ortona, in Abruzzo, and was due to arrive in Turkey in Lariana. In Ortona the crew had unloaded the wheat. Because of the bad weather, however, the request had arrived from the ship to dock at the port of Bari, but never get there. In a second moment, in fact, the commander would have rethought and decided to continue the route. At that point, after passing the airport, the merchant approached the breakwaters and now floats in the shallow water. The authorities intervened promptly and in these moments we are trying to tow the ship with a cable so as to tow it, assess any damage and decide whether to restart it to Turkey or moor it in port. According to what was communicated by the Port Authority, the ship would not be technically stranded and would have failed. Even the crew did not have any consequences.
