Let's stay in touch on container shipping market insights and beyond @Xeneta

I hope that you are all good,

would you like to stay in touch too? Please let me know – as I am happy to re-establish our relationship with a slightly different perspective.

During many years, we have been in touch, as I have sent you shipping market updates on the dry bulk, tankers, and container shipping sectors when I worked as Chief Shipping Analyst at BIMCO. On several occasions you also replied to me, seeking more insights on the subject matter. On other occasions you kindly reached out as you were researching for a story or a particular area of the shipping industry, and you wanted to hear my view on it. Seeking insights and perhaps some graphics to illustrate a particular development in the global shipping industry or wider logistics network.

As you know by now, I started at Xeneta on 1. November 2021 as Chief Analyst. In this new position, I will still be able to share insight with the media, but with a different scope. Please note that Xeneta is the leading ocean and air freight rate benchmarking and market analytics platform transforming the shipping and logistics industry. This means that I will have a keen focus on all aspects of container shipping and global logistics surrounding seaborne transportation – along the lines that I have previously done, but now even more in-dept. Later I shall also become available to share insights on air cargo and global logistics surrounding airborne transports. But it also means that I will not be covering dry bulk and tanker shipping like before. Only when, there is an overlap, like when bulkers are used to transport containers, I will be able to comment and analyze the developments.

Should you like to ‘unsubscribe’, do let me know. If I do not hear back from you, I’ll take it as an indication that you would like to stay in touch and keep your ‘subscription’, receiving analysis and market insights going forward.

Please note that we can also find my shared thoughts on LinkedIn and Twitter, for many relevant aspects of the wider shipping industry and more narrowly on container shipping and air cargo transports.

I look forward to hearing from you again.
